Purpose of this Course

The rehabilitation goal of this course is to provide knowledge and skills necessary for participants to work effectively in the area of problem gambling. This includes the identification, screening and assessment of problem gamblers and their families, as well as the development of appropriate and effective rehabilitation approaches.The prevention goal of this training is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and deliver problem gambling public awareness and prevention activities.

Course Description

This 60-hour course is delivered in two phases of 30 hours each. Each phase usually runs for four days in a row.

*Prerequisite: Participants are required to complete the first phase prior to attending the second phase.
